Manual entry can be time consuming and cumbersome when having to work out how many hours we have flown in the past year, on a certain type of aircraft or how many take offs and landings we have done in the past 90 days. Many pilots over time tend to get a bit slack and forget to make entries, which creates more work when we finally get around to filling out our logbook.
